To Your Dream Kitchen
A kitchen design consultation is all about making sure you end up with a space that fits your needs, style, and budget, with a clear plan to get there!
Step 1Understanding Your Needs
We like to start by understanding what you want from your kitchen. How do you use your kitchen at the moment, do you love to cook or to entertain? What style do you like? What’s your budget? And are there any must-have features we need to think about?
Step 2Measuring the Space
Your designer will measure your kitchen or the area where it will be built to ensure everything fits properly. If you’re doing the consultation remotely, they might ask you to provide measurements.
Step 3Discussing Layout Ideas
Your designer will suggest different layout options based on the space, like where the cabinets, counter tops, and appliances might go. They’ll think about things like how easy it will be to move around the kitchen and make sure it’s functional.
Step 4Choosing Materials and Finishes
You’ll look at options for cabinets, counter tops, back-splashes, flooring, and more. Your designer will guide you through material choices, colours, and textures that fit your style and budget.
Step 5Design Draft and 3D Render
Your designer will create a draft and a 3D rendering of your kitchen design. This is a visual plan that shows what the kitchen will look like based on the ideas you discussed.
Step 6Review and Feedback
You’ll review the design with your designer and give feedback. If there’s anything you want to change or tweak, now is the time to do it. Your designer may make adjustments to get it just right.
Step 7Finalising the Design
Once you’re happy with the design, it’s finalised. You’ll agree on the layout, materials, and any specific features. Your designer will give you the final plan and a quote for how much the project will cost.
Step 8Moving to Installation
After the design is finalised and you agree on the budget, the next step is ordering materials and scheduling the installation. Your dream kitchen starts to become a reality!
